6/9/2023 0 Comments Cs 1.6 Steelseries By PoleDo remember that rawinput, although I would always use it anyways, is a must with high CPI. If a mouse natively supports higher resolutions, go for it. The goal is to use a resolution that is native to the sensor. Also, in practice, most mice sensors' performance suffers with higher sensor resolution, because they are either achieved by interpolation or more vulnerable to noise or dust. The only real benefit from having more angular precision beyond that is that the rotative behaviour is smoother. 022 yaw will result in angular rotation precise enough to aim for the things you want to aim for in CS. In practice though, there's a threshold to how beneficial angular precision can be. This can be referred to as angular precision. Why? Because the lower the in-game sensitivity, the more angles you can possibly rotate by. I love how these threads always turn into people posting, non-contextually, their own sensitivity settings.Ĭan't you guys read what this thread is about or otherwise provide any useful insight?Īs for your question OP, high CPI combined with low in-game sensitivity should be preferable theoretically.
